when trying to burn a cd on itunes it says: disc burner or software not found, what do i do?

everytime i try to burn my playlist onto a empty cd, it says ‘disc burner or software not found’ .. what should i do?

1º- Reinstall itunes
2º- Verify all itunes configurations
3º- Verify that your CD/DVD driver is well installed and it works (reading, for example).
4º- Downgrade itunes
